RIGHT so when I started my sociology course in college, my teacher stated us off with

That’s just it: we don’t know. I think it’s okay that we don’t know, too. I like to think that Daria became an editor in her future; I think it’s something she’d be excellent at doing.
Now, if we got another show about Daria, I’d want her to be an English teacher at Lawndale High with Ms. Li still as the principal and most—if not all—of the other teachers still there. I think it would add a humorous element where Daria is put in the same situations that she was in high school but on the other side of things. Basically an extension of the episode Lucky Strike but set in 2015.
I totally LOVE the idea of Daria being a professional editor. It completely fits her character, and is a “good” ending for her without being TOO Happily Ever After. She still has to suffer and slog through a lot of crap and mediocrity, but she also gets to issue criticisms that must be heeded and she can improve things just a tiny bit.
Also, I can just see her in her alone in her office reading badly written lines out loud and making clever sarcastic comments about them to herself, and it fills me with delight.
No, no, no—she totally writes those comments on the work she’s editing. Some people call her the worst editor ever, some totally love her, and some are neutral (but they would be the same way). Oh my gosh, I would totally go for a sitcom about Daria’s life as an editor. And what if Jane’s a graphic designer and designs the book covers for the crappy books Daria’s working on? Yesssss.

I could also see her creating a column online similar to “The Onion”, in which she takes a current issue or event and satirizes it/criticizes it with her sarcastic and witty ways. The show was great about picking apart the lame side of current trends, just imagine an article like; “The Reason Why You Have Family Drama is Because Millennials Use Instagram”.
